SellMyLuxuryWatch.ae

How to sell a luxury watch in Dubai.

From your first photograph to an agreed sale. You can stop at any stage, and there is no obligation to accept an offer.

Five steps, in order.

  1. 1

    Gather what identifies it.

Find the brand, model or reference, and list any box, papers and service records you have.

  2. 2

    Photograph the watch.

Use soft daylight and show the dial, case sides, caseback, bracelet and clasp, including any visible wear.

  3. 3

    Discuss an initial estimate.

Your details and photographs support a first conversation. An estimate is not yet a final offer.

  4. 4

    Have the watch inspected.

A physical inspection confirms authenticity, condition and the final offer.

  5. 5

    Choose whether to sell.

If you accept, agree the amount, payment method, timing and handover, and keep a record of the terms.

Agree these before handover.

The final amount.

Confirm it after inspection, along with any charges.

Payment method and timing.

Know how and when you will be paid before you part with your watch.

Handover and records.

Agree the arrangements and keep a copy of the terms and sale record.

Before you enquire.

Three things that make your first conversation useful.

Find your watch reference.

Start with the details that identify your watch.

Check the warranty card, receipt, service documents or original sales listing for a model or reference number. Marking locations vary by brand and reference. If you are unsure, send clear photographs of the dial, caseback, bracelet and clasp. Do not open the case or remove parts just to find a number.

Selling without box or papers.

Missing an item? Explain what you do have.

  • Box
  • Warranty card
  • Receipt
  • Service records
  • Spare links

The watch still needs an assessment of authenticity, condition and ownership. Missing documents can affect the purchase offer and the checks required.

Take useful watch photographs.

Clear, honest photographs help the first estimate.

  • Dial
  • Case sides
  • Caseback
  • Bracelet or strap
  • Clasp

Use soft daylight and a plain background. Show visible wear rather than hiding it. Photos support the initial discussion; they do not replace inspection.

Questions, answered.

No. A valuation enquiry is a conversation, and you decide whether to proceed.

How a watch valuation works

No. Do not polish, open or repair a watch just to prepare it for a valuation. Originality can matter, and polishing cannot be undone.

Selling a vintage or non-working watch

Identify and photograph each one separately, so that each can be considered individually.

Selling a watch collection

One piece or a collection. Start with the details you know.
